This place suits me perfectly! It offers free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, and a kettle in the room. The staff were helpful. They even assisted me with exchanging money. I highly recommend it and will be back for New Year!

Unique castle, excellent hospitality, with Sue and Ian providing a lovely breakfast spread in our room, allowing us to start our day while enjoying the beautiful views from the rooftop and exploring the area, just a quick 20-minute drive to the city.

Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes.

I had a wonderful experience staying in the old stone barn, surrounded by beautiful grounds and just a few steps from Fa'side Castle, allowing me to truly immerse myself in the local history, while also being close to the scenic Musselburgh Lagoons for my leisurely walks and park views.

Great views and excellent in-room breakfast, but narrow stairs can be tricky for some.

Staying in the tower was dreamy, with breathtaking rooftop views and a cozy, well-furnished bedroom. The in-room breakfast selection made our mornings perfect. I'd definitely return!

The Deluxe Double Room was cozy and spacious, with a massive bed that felt super comfy. I loved the heated blankets and the charming decor that gave it a nice historical vibe. Plus, the views from the rooftop were breathtaking! those spiral stairs could be a challenge if you’ve got a big suitcase, so maybe pack light.

I adored the authentic charm of the decor throughout Faside Estate, especially the grand hall with its beautiful painted ceilings and massive fireplace. The winding staircases added character while being manageable for someone like me.

A lift would make it more accessible.
